Yggdrasil Gaming, the online gaming developer, have just announced the release of their first ever mobile slot game in the form of Jokerizer iSENSE. If you are looking for a way to take your games on the move then you may have to spend a little less time at sites such as the Begado Casino online and get some apps installed on your mobile instead, as there are plenty of online casinos which offer a mobile suite that is the same or very similar to the games that you can play through their online offering as well. This is a great step forward for the developers, as it means that they can match some of their main rivals within the industry who are already offering mobile games.
The mobile title will be five reels and ten pay lines across three rows, and in fact it has already gone live on the websites of some of the developers customers. The new game can already be found at Cherry Casino, Euro Slots, Spille Automater, and Norgesspill online casinos. Other operators will be able to use it from March the first, so keep an eye out for it if it is not yet available on the platform which you normally use. This is actually a mobile version of a currently existing game, rather than a completely new title, as Jokerizer was first launched in November 2013 as part of the partnership which Yggdrasil have developed with the Norwegian online casino Spille Automater. The company now claims that the mobile version retains a number of the unique features which are present in the desktop game, which is sure to reassure those who are fans of it and want to have the same experience that they remember – with one of the features which is certainly carried across being the tap reels, allowing players to stop auto play at the simple touch of a button.
Fredrik Elmqvist, founder and chief executive officer of Yggdrasil Gaming, said: “The game was heavily promoted on television in the Nordics during the Christmas holidays so it was only natural that it should also be the first of our products to be adapted to mobile. It is one of the best mobile games on the market right now, backed up by the fact that many leading operators have already gone live with it and many more will do the same in the next few months.” The fact that he mentions this as the first title which they go live on mobile devices with certainly indicates that there are big plans for the company to continue releasing mobile-based games in the future, and of course this is the logical step to take as mobile gaming is very big at the minute. Some estimates suggest that around 40% of online gaming revenue might be coming from mobile gaming apps over the next few years, which means that any operator who wants to cash in on this boom will absolutely have to be ready now.
