Professional online player Rick Trigg has had some great results lately, which have seen him make a return to the top ten rankings of online poker players in the UK. This is great news for the player as he has seen some big cash flow results lately, which adds not just to his bankroll but also to his reputation in the online sphere. Known as “TheClaimeer” online, the Sheffield-based professional has recently managed to claim the first Triple Crown of his career, which is a fantastic result and really shows a return to form that comes from putting in plenty of volume at the virtual felt.

It started when he won the PokerStars Big $109 for $21,556, and then just two days later he managed to take down the Full Tilt Poker Turbo Hundo can enter for what was an additional $3480. This fantastic week was completed when he managed to win the Sunday Supersonic on the French PokerStars Site just a few days later. These were not the only fantastic results that he had during the week, as he was clearly gunning for this achievement and was not prepared to stop until he got it, with several near misses taking place in between. First of all he managed to take third place in the French PokerStars 100 Euro 1R1A, giving him a payout of $7895; then third place in the PokerStars $265 Knockout for $4042; then third place in the PokerStars Nightly Fifty Grand for $7166; second place in the Sunday Six Max at PokerStars for $18,504; and finally third place in the $109 no limit hold ‘em at PokerStars for $4274. These are some really fantastic results, and it is no surprise to see him jumping up the UK results table as the scores of been calculate it at the end of the week.

The only other change to the shape of the UK top ten this week was the case of Sebastian Saffari jumping over Rhys Jones in order to take sixth place, but other than that the standings remain as they were last week. Taking top place is of course Chris Moorman, who currently holds the eighth ranked in the world for online poker with an impressive score which has seen another triple Crown for him this year as well. Then Charlie Combes takes second place as well as sixteenth place in the top ranking of the world, followed in third place by Christopher Brammer who has the honour of being twenty-sixth in the world rankings. At fourth and thirty-ninth is Jareth East, who is followed in fifth and also fiftieth by Toby Lewis. Sixth and seventh we have already covered, and eighth is taken by Scott Margereson, with ninth place going to Jon Spinks. Currently just climbing back into the top ten is our Rick Trigg, who is 129th in the world and still have some ground to cover before he can be considered to be back in the game properly.
