The live dealer gaming system providers Ezugi have recently announced that they will be launching Uplay1’s Hybrid blackjack solution, which will allow an unlimited number of players to sit at a blackjack table and will therefore increase the revenues which are available to operators. Uplay1 are a gaming intellectual property company, and this new agreement is sure to be beneficial to both parties as it allows the clients who use Ezugi to offer live blackjack to their clients in a more unlimited way. Previously, the games were limited to seven seats per table, and that limit has now been removed completely.
There will also be changes to the game play which are sure to make it a more enjoyable experience overall for anyone who gets involved. These will include creating a mixture of higher and lower bet minimums in order to set everything up in a way that is preferential to the operators in each individual case, and an enhanced level of gaming engagement which will keep the players coming back for more. “Uplay1’s invention synchronises a blackjack shoe with a virtual shoe allowing any number of players to participate in a live blackjack game, thus incrementally increasing operators’ revenues and profits,” said Bruce Merati, Uplay1’s CEO, while discussing the latest announcement. “It is ideal for low stake wagers and development of new blackjack players.” Meanwhile, on the other side of the table, Kfir Kugler, Ezugi’s CEO, said: “Ezugi is continuing to expand its live gaming portfolio, enabling operators to quickly increase revenues and further monetise players with its new generation of digital gaming entertainment. Hybrid Blackjack is a great solution to allow unlimited players on blackjack.” It is clear that both companies are pleased with the part that they have had to play in this agreement, and with the results that they are going to receive.
It seems like changing live games into an unlimited experience is something that is all the rage at the moment, becoming one of the new trends very quickly within the live gaming sphere. We have seen many such trends already rolling out through the online gaming industry since it began: first of all it became a race to try and add live gaming in the first place, with companies such as Evolution doing very well as a result, and now it is the case that everyone is looking at making their systems more streamlined and allowing more people to enter each game. It makes sense that each company wishes to maximise the amount of revenue that they are able to receive, and since the demand is at an all-time high for live gaming it is clear that there is some need to expand the level at which it is available to players at any given time. Going unlimited means that everyone gets the chance to play, and that is very unusual indeed at the moment – but shortly it will surely become the normal state of affairs.
